Take a 20-ml syringe and attach a bicycle-valve tube to its nozzle. Make two holes: one on the syringe and the other on the tube. When you fill the syringe with water and push the piston, the jet coming from the hole on the syringe is the fastest. This is because the greater volume of the syringe allows the water molecules to move in a more random motion. This experiment is an efficient and simple demonstration of Bernoulli's principle.
